Folklore: A myth story of the Heluwali Chap
Compilation: Kishore Subba (Limbu)

Long ago, there was the Heluwali Chap (the ghost of Heluwa). In the village, whoever talks about Heluwali Chap in the daytime will be hunted by Heluwali Chap at night. One evening in the dusk, a middle-aged woman was feeding her baby on the terrace. A man wearing a white dress top to bottom came from the front, grabbed her, and threw her beside the wall. The woman called her son Prabhuram. Prabhuram was an army man, and he was on his first vacation. When Prabhuram came running after hearing his mother's call, Prabhuram tried to grab that white ghost, but there was only a shadow. not being absorbed. And Prabhuram took out his khukuri (knife) and attacked the ghost. But the ghost threw Prabhuram as well, and both mother and son were attacked. It was so mysterious because there was a sign in the cut place, but there was no drop of blood. There was a big scar on the woman's face even later. And his son Prabhuram also had two fingers cut off. After some time, the Heluwali Chap vanished.Nowadays, there is no sign of the Heluwali Chap.
