A long time ago,
There was a Karki house near a cemetery hill.At that time, it was customary to go to Assam (India). Later, the last descendant of the Karki also went to Assam. At that place, there was a Chautaro (rest ground for the travellers), and on the Chautaro, there was a stone inscription that addressed the place as the Karki Chhap.

The ghost of the palace that used to be called Karki Chhap The ghost used to catch the people at the Karki Chhap and take them to the river a little below Chautaro. People said that the person would not survive if they were caught by the ghost of Karki Chhap. It takes about 2 minutes to reach the river from Chautaro in Karki Chhap.
Once upon a time, the storyteller heard that Julfe's father had encountered the ghost of the Karki Chhap. He was coming through the Karki Chhap. He felt someone grab him strongly from the back, right there in the Karki Chhap. He couldn't get away from it no matter how hard he tried. He continued walking as far as he could go.When he crossed the river, there was nothing. Then Julfe's father died the next day.
Later, people were afraid to walk through the Karki Chhap after sunset.
