बच्चाको दाजु दिदी गर्भैमा या बालाखामै मरेको भए । या अगाडीका सन्तानहरु सबै मरेर गएको भए । पछि जन्मिएको बच्चालाई देउदेउतासँग बल मागेर मसानहरुलाई बाचा गरेर रख्खेकल्ली लगाइदिनु पर्छ । रख्खेकल्ली बनाउँदा पञ्चरत्ने धातुको (सुन, चाँदी, तामा, पित्तल, फलाम) पातालाई ग्रहणलागेको दिन साँध्नु (पिट्नु) पर्छ । यसरी ग्रहणमा साँधेर राखेको पञ्चरत्ने धातुको दुबै हात र दुबै खुट्टाको लागि कल्ली बनाउनु पर्छ । कल्ली बनाए पछि आरान देउता (विश्वकर्मा), देबी देउरालीसँग बल माग्नु पर्छ । होत्रे मसान, रेशान मसान सबैलाई बाँचा गरेर रख्खेडोरी पूजा गर्नु पर्छ । बच्चालाई रख्खेकल्ली लगाई दिने बेला । नाङ्गलोमा एक पाथी धान, एक माना चामल, एक माना जाँड, एक माना रक्सी, भेटी पैसा, कुखुराको भाले, धुप बत्ति आदि चाहिन्छ ।  धुप बत्ति बालेर  बच्चालाई छेउमा राखेर रख्खेकल्लीको पूजा गरि देउदेउता सँग बल मागिन्छ । मसानहरुलाई बाचा गरि रख्खे कल्ली बच्चालाई लगाइदिइन्छ । रख्खेकल्लीको पूजा गर्दा :
हेर परमेश्वर तिमी आरान देउता
भनि कन भक्ति पूजा गरेको छु ।
हेर परमेश्वरा तिमी लसुन देउता
भनि कन तिम्रो कारखानामा बनाएको
आरानमा गई पूजा गर्छु ।
हेर परमेश्वरा तिमी लसुन देउता
तिमीलाई  सुनपंखी नौ सिंङ्गे भालेले पूजा गर्छु ।
हेर परमेश्वरा बाह्र बर्ष बाह्र पुस्ता
हातखुट्टामा रख्खेकल्ली लगाई रख्ने छ ।
हेर परमेश्वरा यो दुधमुखी बालाखाको
सुनचाँदीको आयु राख्ने बाचा गरेको छु ।
हेर परमेश्वरा तिमी खानीको देउता
सात ठाउँको तिमी
सुनखानीको तिमी
फलाम खानीको तिमी
लिङ्गलिङ्ग खानीको तिमी
तामा खानीको तिमी
पित्तल खानीको तिमी
आयु राख्ने गरी कन
हेर परमेश्वरा तिमी

रेसान मसानहरु भन्छ

...चैते दशैमा पूजा गर्छु परमेश्वरा ।

बाह्र बर्ष बाह्र पुस्ता रख्खे गर्नु
बाह्र बर्षपछि खोल्छु है परमेश्वरा
हेर परमेश्वरा राख्खे बाचा गरेको छु
परमेश्वरा आकाश गए तान्छु
पाताल गए तान्छु
हेर परमेश्वरा तिमी भनि कन
फलामको साङ्गलो छिनाएर जानु
हेर परमेश्वरा हजार बर्षको आयु दिनु
सुनैको भुजा दिएको छु
सुनैको चुरा दिएको छु
बास्ने भालेले पूजा गर्छु है परमेश्वरा....

भनेर मान बहादुर वि.क.ले बच्चालाई दुबै हात र दुबै खुट्टामा रख्खे कल्ली बाँधी दिए । मान बहादुरका अनुसार बाह्र बर्षपछि यो कल्ली खोल्दा पनि उत्ति नै सरदम  नाङ्गलोमा एक पाथी धान, एक माना चामल, एक माना जाँड, एक माना रक्सी, भेटी पैसा, कुखुराको भाले, धुप बत्ति आदि चाहिन्छ ।  धुप बत्ति बालेर खोल्नु पर्छ । यो रख्खे कल्ली वाँधेर उच्च जातका बालकलाई सानो जातमा झारेको रे । साना जातकालाई मसानले दुःख दिदैन रे । यो कल्ली लगाइञ्जेल बाह्र बर्षसम्म बच्चा घरको कूल देउतमा मा चल्दैन रे । विहे गर्दा पहिले रख्खेकल्ली खोलेर आफ्नो जातमा माथी ल्याएपछि मात्र विवाह चल्छ रे । यसरी कल्ली लगाएको बालकको नाम पनि स्थानिय परिबेशको मान्यता अनुसारको तल्लो जातको नाम दिने गरिन्छ रे ।

If the child's brother or sister died in the womb or during childhood, the parent's offspring have all died before. The newborn child should be given strength by asking for strength from the gods and goddesses and making a request to bad souls and monsters to keep him alive. When making Rakhe Kalli, the leaves of Pancharatne metal (gold, silver, copper, brass, and iron) should be beaten on the eclipse day. In this way, Rakhe Kalli would be made for both the hands and both the legs. After making the Rakhe Kalli, you have to ask for strength from Aran Deuta (a Viswakarma god) and Debi Deurali (a local god and goddess). Head Masan (the Head Monster) and Reshan Masan (the Reshan Monster) should be worshipped for keeping everyone alive. On the date of the wearing of the Rakhe Kalli by the baby It requires one pathi of paddy, one mana of rice, one mana of Jand (local beer), one mana of liquor (local alcohol), gift money, a red roster, an incense stick, etc. to be put on the winnowing fan. The incense is lit, and the child is placed beside it. Worshipping all gods, goddesses, and monsters and wishing the child a healthy life, the Rakhe Kalli puts on the child's hands and legs. The recitation for the worship of Rakhe Kalli would be:

Man Bahadur BK donned the Rakhe Kalli on both his hands and feet. According to Man Bahadur, even after opening this Kalli after twelve years, it needs the same worshipping materials: one pathi of paddy, one mana of rice, one mana of jaand, one mana of liquor, gift money, a chicken rooster, an incense stick, etc. The incense burner should be turned on. It is said that the upper-caste child was reduced to a lower caste by tying this Rakhi Kalli. Masan does not give grief to small castes. Wearing this Rakhe Kalli, the child does not have access to the Kool god. The marriage and other rituals would occur only after opening the Rakhe Kalli and bringing it up to one's caste. In this way, the Rakhe Kalli-wearing child should be baptised with the lower caste's name according to the local environment.
