According to Dek Bahadur Limbu, he was the planner and founder of the Sri World Peace Kirateshwar Mahadev Him (temple) when he was 7-8 years old. In the winter, the cowshed was in Gahatbari. One day his father, Pujariba, went to the village. He was a shepherd for cows and buffalos. The cows and buffaloes were grazing in the field. He was playing on a rock next to the temple of Jammathan.

At that moment, he felt as if he had fallen asleep. Like in a dream, he has a snake's aura on his head. He was scared to see a snake's aura on his head. Then he found himself on the golden ladder of a glittering place, and the sky thundered. The lightning flashed. With the thunder flashlight, a man in a white gown with a beard and moustache appeared.Another man came in next, and a woman in a white dress came in with the third flashlight. They convince him to go with them, and they promise that "We'll give you great honour, a golden drum, a golden incense burner, a golden bell, a golden trident." "You'll be a powerful shaman and the like." The ground was shaking at the time of the sending of holy incense.He said that he had no desire to be a Shaman, as his father and forefathers were. Then, he said, "I don't like to become a Shaman, so I am not going to go with you; I won't care for the purity and pollution, and I don't want to remain unmarried for my whole life." They said, "Even if you don't want to go with us, you can keep this golden drum, golden incense burner, golden bell, and golden trident," after several attempts to persuade him and his constant rejection.You can build a temple later and worship for world peace. That would be a fantastic contribution to the villagers and the universe," but he denied taking the goods, and they vanished with the help of a thunder flashlight.The entire earth was shaking and smelling like holy incense that day.

He did not pay much attention to Shamanism because he did not want to become a Shaman, and when he was 9 years old, Bam Bahadur took him and a friend to fish for Gadela (a kind of small fish) in the Jyape tributary river. Father had warned him not to touch Gadela, even if he was a generous fishing buddy.Despite the fact that he did not touch the Gadela, he becomes ill for six months.

After that, he didn't care for the rules of purity and pollution at such a young age. He got married. But even then, sometimes lightning strikes, and he gets signals in his dreams. Then he decided to build a temple and worship for world peace and prosperity. A trident and a bell were placed on Shikharpur Hill in 2013 (2069 BS), and a Temple Construction Committee was formed under the chairmanship of Tirtha Kumar Limbu. In 2013, (2069 BS), the management committee of this world peace temple (Kirateshwar Mahadev Him) issued its constitution.

The shrine of Sri Kirateshor Mahadev Him (the temple) was started under construction on October 1st, 2015 (2072, Asoj, 14 BS), and the temple was inaugurated on November 22nd, 2015 (2072, Manshir, 6 BS). At present, the local government is also assisting in the construction, development, and promotion as a touristic place. The Shikharpur View Tower and the stairs leading to the temple are possible with the local government's financial support. The place is currently developing as a religious tourist destination. The message from the founder (Dek Bahadur Limbu) of the Sri World Peace Kirateshor Mahadev Him (Temple) is that by worshipping in the temple, all devotees will find peace of mind and fulfillment.
